Dear Serena,
Thank you for your nice comments on my solitary confinement blog. I see we share at least one thing in common—we are the babies in the family. :)

I guess I should first answer your question on how my mother and brother died. Both were horrible deaths. My mother passed from cancer of the lungs and my brother died from liver cancer and was found dead curled up in his sleeping bag in a back alley. When they found him, his pitbull dog laid beside him. He was a homeless alcoholic.

You mentioned that your brother committed suicide. It is very disheartening to see people take their own life. It runs in my family as well. My sister's boy (eldest) took his life because his girlfriend left him. Then my sister has tried to end her life from all the grief that she's suffered most of her life.

WELL, it was nice to hear from you. I enjoy talking with people out there. Bye, Serena—at least for now.
