Hello SJBB! I hope you got my recent card. I've been holding up to write a longer letter in case you reply to that...but I certain saw this reply! Honestly though, I'm not sure I understand it. A "high wire act"? I think I might get it, but since I can't see what I wrote that you're responding to, it's pretty unclear. Um... is the "high wire" thing good? Lol! If you read it "thrice", and "savored it", I think that sounds good - no? Anyway, I loved the (purportedly) Vonnegut God quote, and I hope I remember it for future use. Do you ever find yourself disappointed at all the cool stuff you mean to pocket for just that right time, only to realize way later that you never remembered it at all? I do that a lot - tons of good quotes and thoughts, or even just neat words to use at the right time, all written on scraps of paper and then forgotten. The would-be bons mots that become... what's the related French phrase? "Ripostes de l'escalier"? I think it's not "ripostes". Oh well. Sorry about the paper, I'm running low!
