I appreciate your transcriptions and comments, GN22. It's amazing to me how many people miss (or don't seem to care about) the fact that "I can't breathe!" isn't meant to be a literal statement, though it's almost always meant as a sign of genuine distress. And no question in the world about it, what happened to Mr. Floyd was horrible. The ultimate consequences were unique— hence all the attention — but the basic solution of cops disregarding and mocking their victims are very, very common. Certainly something I've seen and experienced far too many times for any one person
Thanks also for the nice compliment... What I say has been described many ways, for sure (lol!), but I think "fascinating" is a new one. It feels good!
