[underlined] General Response to Comments From Nov. to Dec. 2020 [end underlined]
Pg 1 of 2 (otherside)

Hello all friends (and non-friends) in the BTB universe. I received a number of comments in the past few months, some of them very kind, encouraging, and even inspiring (kinda lookin' at you, Olku2718, re. [underlined] Elephant, Donkey, etc. [end underlined]; I'm not sure anyone's ever told me I caused them to reconsider their opinion, ever!). I usually respond to all comments -- if you take the time to speak to me, I should do the same, right? -- but as I wrote earlier, I did get the coronavirus, and all the very unnecessary, prison-imposed consequences of that. It set me back, altered my priorities, and caused me to lose track of a lot of papers, projects, etc. I think it's muddled my mind a bit, even... I feel like I've been forgetting and mixing things up lately. God, I hope not. :( Anyway, thanks to everyone for transcribing, commenting, and just plain reading -- giving all us prisoners a voice, however muffled. Sorry I lost track of things, but please, keep interacting! I promise I'll stay on top of my responses better (you know, barring any new mystery diseases or cop abuse).

[underlined] P.S. [end underlined] Now it's March 23rd. I don't know how I forgot to send this two months ago. :( Maybe my mind was more muddled than I'd though? I dunno... I'm planning to play a little catch-up now, though. Hopefully I'll post something someone will enjoy.
Ciao

Oh, and I'm trying to respond to all the old comments, but if I miss a couple, my apologies. I've lost a lot of papers lately, and the mail delays here have been totally ridiculous -- 45 to 65 days, sometimes. I [underlined] still [end underlined] haven't received at least two letters I [underlined] know [end underlined] were sent, one on Dec. 26 2020, and one around Jan. 20 to 25, 2021. Crazy delays and missing mail also makes it really hard to stay current and focused. Sorry to anyone I've overlooked (and [underlined] really [end underlined] sorry to anyone who's written to me and I never even got their letters! I hope you'll follow up and let me know you're trying to reach me -- I [underlined] promise [end underlined] I'll write back as soon as I hear from you!

I just signed up on this blog. Just happened to read your blog because it was the first one I came across. Its only right to respond when reading someone's story. I seen BLOGS when I was looking up a imfo about parole. I never even heard of blog before. Yeah I know where have I been. So now that I reached out to you. Maybe we can write. It's late and my sleeping throughout the day and little naps here and there. It's my back that keeps me from laying down to long. It doesn't matter anyway I been dealing with crap for awhile now.. . Well for now til when. We talk again. Sasy L

Thanks for writing! I finished the transcription for your post. I am really sorry to hear about the struggles you've endured over the past few months. I am sure that experiencing the virus has not been a pleasant experience especially when not within the comfort of your home. I just want to remind you that we are all still here and listening, and we understand any complications on your side. Please continue writing to us and voice your thoughts!

Thanks for writing! I finished the transcription for your post.

I'm sorry to hear that you contracted the coronavirus, but I'm glad to see that you're still around and still writing afterwards.

I'm also sorry to hear about those mail delays -- that's insane to have to wait over two months for a piece of mail to arrive. No worries, though, since a lot of us are still here reading, transcribing, and commenting!
