2 amendment Gun Carry Law in Georgia
Hold up now Governor Kemp. We are in a crisis where violence is higher than ever. Every second someone is getting killed by a gun. My cousin was shot three times by a gun that left him dead (2016) Some people are already trigger happy that is not a licensed gun carrier. What are you going to do different with the Guns getting into the wrong hands that haven't been already done?
Secondly your trying to pass a carry law in Georgia based on 2 amendment for the people to protect themself. OK what about the people behind bars who got charged with disarming their gun to protect themselves but because it wasn't no self defense law in Georgia they was charged with murder. So would this law be retroactivity to those incarcerated individuals?
Laws are meant to be thought through carefully before they are passed. They should help the ones not just in the free world but the ones who has been unjustly incarcerated as well.

I hope you are doing well. As a former Georgia resident, I appreciate your thoughts on this topic. More lawmakers should take incarcerated people into account when writing legislature, you are correct.
