"My Getaway"

1.) I awake to a sun shining upon me,
sometimes it's real,
other times it's the even that broadcasted the day.
2.) My heart beat triple in anticipation
My heart beat
and anticipate.
3.) Each step I take,
A cloud cushion the steps,
as if I'm skipping & dipping between oceans of skies
4.) As I walk through the door—the portal of poetry.
Banks of words greet me :-):-):-) with smiles :-):-):-).
and applause, as they share my anticipation too.
5.) My fav's high five me,
and wing :-):-\ :-) to let me know it's "Oh,"
and that they got my back.
6.) The Poetic Pontiff professor Fandel part the oceans of the day,
the announcement electrify the supercollider in all of us,
and Atoms begin to Pop open like butter popcorn on A Saturday matinee
7.) Worlds and Universes start taking their command from Her & us,
planets spin around our heads and milky ways begin to shape out of our minds.
8.) The ether possess the moment,
I'm transposed away,
far away,
I'm not here.
9.) The poet is pure, No restraint... But her or his own moral compass & devise,
a peek at eloquence, of freedom.
