Hi! Gosh, I really appreciate your comment! Thanks so much. I honestly
don't recall what I wrote re. the control (lack of) we have over commments left to us, at
least beyond "leave it" or "remove it". I get that it could create a lot of extra work for a likely
already overworked BTB staff (whom I will NEVER cease to appreciate and be grateful for with
all my heart!), but I doubt many bloggers would want to micro-edit the comments ppl leave them.
In my case, I only objected to the cut & paste hit job by a commenter wanting to plaster my page
with cop-propaganda; despite the nastiness of the personal comments, I wouldn't ask to edit or even
remove them, because I want this to be an authentic space all around. I only wanted the pasted
parts removed, which seems fair to me. Again, thanks A TON for your support! Even if nothing
changes, the site is an incredible gift to both prisoners and the public as it is. I hope you leave
lots of comments for others -- you'll never know what a boost it is for us to see them!
