Are we a color - Black? No we are an ethnicity like all ethnicities!
Do any ethnicities call themselves a color? Or a noun attached to their ethnicity?
1. People from Mexico (born in America) call themselves Mexicans.
2. People from Germany (born in America) call themselves Germans.
3. People from Puerto Rico (born in America) call themselves Puerto Ricans.
4. People from Ireland (born in America) call themselves Irish.
5. People from Japan (born in America) call themselves Japanese.
6. People from Israel (born in America) call themselves Jews.
7. People from Jamaica (born in America) call themselves Jamaicans.
8. People from Great Britain (born in America) call themselves British.
9. People from Scotland (born in America) call themselves Scottish.
10. People from Arabia (born in America) call themselves Arabs.
11. People from Hawaii (born in America) call themselves Hawaiians.
12. People from Russia (born in America) call themselves Russians.
Etc...Etc...Etc...Just to name a few...
Does any one ethnicity call there selves a color or attach a noun (America) to their ethnicity as we do?
Be Proud Africans of our Motherland call yourselves Africans and if you choose to attach a noun to our ethnicity - then let it be known You Are An African Born In America!
