The Elderly Population and our Social Security Institution

Today I want to provide a template that is designed to change circumstances on behalf of our Elderly population and their Institution in the government called Social Security participants. Specifically, Trump and Republicans argue that they wont mess with this institute of the government. But, that is false because I have been recording everything in my mind and heart of what has been happening with our senior citizens!

This subject is right at home for me. Cause my mother in law and father in law currently receive social security. They are elderly, in their late 70s with tons of health problems. Some people are born with health issues. On the other hand, other people become sick in their body later on in life, which is beyond their control. However, having a disability does not exclude the senior citizens from getting equal treatment from our government. The land of the "Free" and "Freedom" "America". I often ask is we really free in "America"?

I always establish absolutely "no". Cause is we were, we wouldn't have to discuss the fact that our senor citizens is being left out when it comes to benefits, for example the recent stimulus for the tax payers. So they didn't get the stimulus, even though they have to pay their bills, such as they have to provide shelter, clothing, food, and transportation for themselves out of their social security check.

People, this is not right. We got to speak up for the voiceless. Many senior citizen don't have a voice, or don't know how to speak up for themselves. For instance, during the pandemic, many parents that is on snap receive double food stamps for their children. Senior citizens receive nothing. As a matter of fact, many senior citizens has been deemed they are not eligible for food stamps because their social security payment is too much. So they scrapping trying to find money for food.

But here I stand, some senior citizen house rent is 500 dollars, the car insurance is 400 dollars, electric bill 450, vehicle is 1500, life insurance 1300 or more because they want a decent burial, etcetera. So the question lingers, how can their social security check be too much? The thought is so scary to me. As our senior citizens struggle, the government turns a blind eye.

Recently, there was a report on the news that many senior citizens had been paid too much on their social security checks. Now they are deemed to pay it back. I cannot believe Trump and Republicans are doing this, very heartless. This makes me sick to my stomach, watching our government dominate our senior citizens, the helpless.

Now tariffs on the pharmaceutical companies over seas. Which will put the senior citizen in a diabolical stage. Cause not only do our elderly has to depend on medicine. For many of them, its a life of death situation. They have to have the medicine the doctor prescribe them. Its as if nobody in the government can be really focusing on the destructive path this will take our senior citizens on these tariffs and now policies that Trump enforcing. It appears that majority of government is wigging out on a low unsteady tone as if they don't have no authority in the cat claw fight with Trump.

American government we need you to come back to reality that our senior citizen is being left out and "Take a Stand" they are deserving of all the benefits they can get to help them.

Now lets turn to our local government. I am going to talk about our local officials in Bainbridge and Donalsonville, Georgia. Not too many people care about holding these small towns accountable for their budgets and how they spending money in the country.

Now they closing social security offices. So this leave the senior citizens travelling a long distance to get to an office so they can handle their business. Once again, our senior citizens disadvantaged. Department of family and children services was created for the disadvantaged (poor) or people in poverty. Many people are in poverty because every time people think they head is above the waters. Here comes the government throwing a monkey wrench to disadvantage the people in poverty all over again.

If this off is for people in poverty, why is it that senior citizen social security too much so they are not eligible for food stamps. However, if they do apply and make the bait to "receive," I seen senior citizens approve 14 dollars worth of stamps. How in the world they can live off 14 dollars for a month. Senior citizen has to eat as well.

Then there is meal on wheels. For instance, my mother in law and her husband been waiting for years in a list in Donaldsonville, Georgia. While the local government sitting in their comfortable office. Is this fair to our senior citizens, absolutely not.

I believe our senior citizen for a single household should be able to receive at least 300 dollars in food stamps. While married household should receive at least 500 they have to eat a whole month. We got to care about the helpless, which is our senior citizens. I love my babies senior citizens- I care about you- you have my heart. You are not alone - you got me.
