Joshua Jones #1664772 Housed here at the McConnell unit. I am here in the Texas Department of Criminal Justice Institutional Division. I'm writing this on the behalf of my Case in Walker County, Texas, Huntsville. Jones have reason to believe that he wasn't competent enough to understand the totality of the repercussions of the plea agreement he signed. Jones has been under mental health doctors since childhood. He has taken psychotropic drugs for that long as well. So, According to the record he has also abused drugs for nearly as long. Due to Jones was indigent and not able to afford his own lawyer, he has reason to believe that he was denied an adequate opportunity to be represented by counsel that instructed him properly, considering his diminished capacity. Jones believe that the records reflected proof of his innocence amongst newly discovered scientific data concerning the effects of psych meds over extended periods of time. Jones would like the chance to withdraw his plea and be allowed an opportunity to get his case investigated along with his mental health records. Jones would like to file an out of time appeal..

Jones was charged for robbery and the victims only stated it was only one suspect that got outta the car. I was the driver smoking a cigarette dipped in PCP without the ability to think. Jones was not competent at the time to control himself. Jones was insane at the time of the alleged offense. At the time of the robbery, Jones as a result of severe mental disease or defects, Jones didn't know that his or the suspect's conduct was wrong. Jones didn't know the suspect was going to jump outta the car and rob anyone.
