First let me begin by saying thank you for your comments on my post titled "Man's Years". I decided to post that piece mainly because I felt it added an interesting perspective on man's life on earth. It pleases me to know that it gave you something to contemplate.
You questioned if my 20 years are behind bars? I have 3 years left to do and once completed it will be a total of 16 and a half years of my life I've spent in prison. Although I hate prison I know it was a necessary part of my life to get the focus, discipline, maturity, and direction I needed to be a better man in this world. I've made a lot of poor decisions in my life and it is no one's fault that I'm here other than my own. With all that in mind I've been focused on making better decisions and choices that will bring me peace, joy and success.
You appear to be a very spiritually centered person and that's something I not only respect but appreciate as well. I once had a very close relationship with the Lord and got discouraged and backslid. I have yet to rekindle that fire I have for God or that relationship but lately I been reaching out and making attempts to do so.
If it is not too much to ask, can you hold me in your prayers and submit my name to your congregation's prayer warriors? I really am going through a lot right now and I truly do want to reconnect with the Lord, so please pray for that for me.
I would love to hear your testimony and continue a dialog with you on a spiritual level if time permits you to do so. It took me almost a month to get this response from you so it probably be best if you could write me directly through the mail. If you don't have the time I do understand. Either way I thank you for your comments. Wish you the best, and pray peace comforts you daily.
Humbled by your kindness,
