ndna,
Thank you for the encouraging comments and insightful advice. I have come to find that your take on mistakes and errors in judgment are the most useful ways to look at our growth as people. Ironically enough I was told, long ago, the same thing by someone else but I couldn't agree with them at the time. I had always felt like if you know better you should do better. But I found that to be so untrue as it applies to most people, myself foremost. It took for me to want better before I began to do better.
ndna, you mentioned 'at university'. What university? Are you a student or professor, other? Being locked up as long as I have has made me eager to meet new people and have new experiences so far away from the small world of 'the streets' that I limited myself to before my incarceration.
If you would like to contact/correspond with me directly it would be much welcomed:

ndna, there is no pressure on you to contact me directly. I am in a work release center and I have been working out in the community at a regular job for almost 2 years but I am still incarcerated, so my time is not 'idle'. I am also taking college courses by correspondence through the University of Wisconsin Distance Learning Center. It would be great to have a new friend though?
