Rape

"Rape"

Rape... it's God's will. Come on, really! How stupid are Republicans? Obviously pretty damn stupid, huh. Always trying to push their beliefs, ramming them down people's throat.

What's also disturbing is how fake people are, mean what you say, and say what you mean. These people jump ship faster than anything I've ever seen. The Republicans' goal is to do away with Roe vs. Wade and force women who get pregnant, to have them children, even if it is the child of a "rapist". They want to force women to carry the rapist's child and give birth to it.

They will tell people, oh, under certain circumstances of rape or incest, abortions are appropriate. But they're only saying that to soft sell this to the American people, no doubt once they get Roe reversed their true opinions will come out, as we have seen them slip and allow their true views to surface from time to time, and then they will be forcing American women to give birth to the rapist's child or the child of incest. Because as we've seen, politicians are liars and hide, or try to hide their true beliefs, which is, rape is the will of God.

Religion and politics are dangerous, it's like throwing gas on the fire. Politics - it's corrupt enough, without religious nuts getting involved, trying to use it to push their religious beliefs. But - it's your world, I just exist in it.

Wrong.
It´s not religion being dangerous but what some people make of it. Important difference!!!! ;-)
(Of course it depends on the religion. The one of the old Aztecs is indeed dangerous unless you have masochistic tendencies and fancy your heart being ripped off while you are still alive. But I can´t find anything dangerous for example in Christian faith the way Jesus taught it. If all people acted like he wishes the world would be better.)

I for my part see the point that an innocent child would be killed although he/she isn´t guilty of the way it was made.

But what I also find disturbing is that it´s very often men who try to tell women what to do then - men, who will never have to prove that they would act "better".

In general, I would say abortion is wrong as a human being´s life is destroyed but I would see the gravity of guilt differently.
After rape or if the mother´s life is in danger, I would absolutely see "mitigating circumstances".
It´s a difference to have an abortion because of such reasons or simply because you have been too lazy to take the pill or didn´t want to use a condom.

Besides I see a difference between the sin and the sinner....
You know, loving the sinner doesn´t mean not to see the sin and seeing the sin doesn´t and shouldn´t mean to judge the sinner as a person.

Life isn´t simply black and white, bad or good, hè?

Yea, I agree with you. It’s really messed up. Not only are the Republicans doing this but the Christians too! Every day as I walk the streets of New York City I always hear someone preach about how YOU should believe in God, how God is SO good and how you could be saved if you just repent your sins. It’s all a lie. I was watching something on the TV a couple of weeks ago; this woman was saying how if religion didn't exist, people would kill each other and how believing in God teaches you how to be a good person. You don’t need to be a Christian to be a good person. Also, it’s just all false hope. It’s a crutch to make people feel better about themselves and their lives. I’m probably going off topic here and my response is all choppy but whatever. I'm just going to type away!

Did you know that in the Old Testament the people who wrote the bible wrote about how God was a wrathful God? They wrote how he was vengeful and angry. Then they made a new testament saying how God was a forgiving God. Someone changed it so the people would be more willing to believe in this unholy hoax.

I can’t believe that if Romney became president he was going to try to make abortions and gay marriages illegal. It’s totally unfair. How are you going to be in charge of someone else’s life? (I’m not gay by the way but I support it) Did you know that most people who are gay and who believe in God hate themselves because their religion tells them it’s wrong to feel that way? It’s not like someone wakes up one day and just decides, “You know what, I’m going to be gay for the rest of my life”. No, it just happens, it’s not their fault that their attracted to the same sex. It just happens, and Christians/republicans make them feel bad about it. Also all these people are against abortions but they support the death penalty. A bunch of hypocrites.

If a woman is raped or is forced into incest and has a retarded child, this woman is going to be judged anyway, well maybe not judged but talked about, you know people and their snarky comments “Oh, that’s the woman who gave birth to the rapist child or retarded child.” And if a woman has an abortion everyone wants to burn you at the stake! Damned if you do and damned if you don’t. The world would be a better place without the republicans and the Christians.

You don´t seriously believe that - that the world would be better without Christians or other religions, do you?

According to my opinion, it´s not religion but the human nature that makes people suppress others, kill others etc. If they didn´t do it because of their religion, they´d do it because of skin colour or because the other ones´ noses aren´t straight.
The ones who want to act like that always find a reason.

But I agree that you don´t have to be a Christian to be a good human being. I know good Christians AND good atheists as well as bad Christians and bad atheists.....
depends on the person.

PS
Someone changed the imagination of God from wrathful to forgiving?
Yes - that guy´s named Jesus and if he really was God´s son, he had every right to do that, and for the better if God is like He told us.
But of course, that´s a matter of faith and it´s completely okay if you think it´s not true.
