The Ancient Art Form... Mailing Letters!

Recently I received a response to a post and the person said, "I would write directly but it seems so ancient." That's totally understandable but I'd hate for the art of "mailing letters" to be lost. It's such a personal and read way of communicating that just can't be lost in this world we live in.

It's something about the paper, the handwriting, the anticipation of opening the envelope, that make mailing letters so real and personal... how can be give up on that?

Read my past posts titled "mail call" or "lost in a technological age"... this issue is serious to me! Since I've been blogging 2 people have written me directly and I'm so grateful for that.

So look... I don't care if you write me, a family member, friend, or prisoner... take the time to send someone a letter and let me know how you feel afterwards O.L... take care out there.
