My Choice

I can marry who I want to
Shouldn't even concern you
Not your place to say
How can you weigh in, you're not even gay
Laws are changing!
Beliefs rearranging!
Don't be scared, it's not new
Two men in love, say "I do"
Hate is honest, love is work
Think as you please, but don't be a jerk
In your eyes it's just not right
But as long as there's a breath in me, I'll fight
What passions surprised you?
What feelings compromised you?
Are you angry because you think I'm pretty
Or are you scared to come out, little boy, what a pity
I can marry who I want to
Damn right! It doesn't concern you
It's not your place to say
How can you weigh in...
...unless you're gay!
