Sad to say, that even though some states are letting marijuana become legal, that is only on the state front. The Feds don't see the drug as being legal, (I'm also not here this time for drugs. Drugs played a large role in my crime, but not what I was charged with).
I agree we should stop stigmatizing people who do drugs. Studies show, that when you do drugs for long periods, you lose the understanding of right and wrong. Do I think people should get away with anything because of this? No; but help that person, because legal or not, drugs (even marijuana) have the ability to be addicting. Anyone can become addicted. They need to look at drugs like they do alcohol: they send you to a class and try to get you help.
