Choose, Everything, Anything

by Sarah Luedecke (author's profile)

Transcription

CHOOSE, EVERYTHING, ANYTHING

Choose to live
Choose to love
Choose to hate
Choose to anticipate

Everything that means anything
Everything that means nothing
Everything I lack to know
Everything I lack to have

Choose to breathe
Choose to speak
Choose to watch
Choose to sleep

Anything that is wanted
Anything that is filled with regret
Anything worth forgiveness
Anything worth remembering

I HAVE

I have accomplished
That which was impossible
That which was hard
That which was long overdue

I have reached
The goal which was unreachable
The thought which was unthinkable
The place which was unattainable

I have realized
That I can do anything
That I can reach any height
That I can go any distance

I have regretted
All the mistakes made needlessly
All the words said in anger
All the acts of insanity

I have become
A new creation altogether
A new thinker of my ways
A new reason for me to live
