April 1-4, 2013

Monday April 1, 2013 5:20am: Just finished cleaning the cell. Waiting on breakfast, after which I'll start writing. I didn't watch The Amazing Race again. I listened to music until I fell asleep. Just not big on T.V. I use it to pass time when I have nothing else to do. I'm going to have another cup of coffee and wait on breakfast.
5:39am: Guy we call Money Red on the other side is having a heart attack. I hope he's going to alright. I've known him 20 years. He was my neighbor back in 93-94. All I know is the nurse is on the way over. We just ate 2 small pancakes and some oatmeal. I'm fixing to start writing.
10:36am: Just been sitting here writing. Fixing to set up and start exercising. I ate a ramen noodle soup with fish about an hour ago. Still haven't heard anything on Money Red.
11:24am: They just called recreation. Sure wish I could go out with everyone else. I don't know when they will take me out. I gave my whole lunch tray away. I just don't care for most of the stuff they serve. I'm fixing to walk for awhile.
1:10pm: The guys just went to recreation. Pisses me off that I can't go out, so I'm going to write the secretary and the senator again. 'Cause this is bullshit.
2:32pm: I wrote Secretary Crews and a letter to the senator about this heightened security and Warden Reddish's criminal unethical conduct and I'm asking for a polygraph to prove it. Just pisses me off, and when I get mad, I put this pen to work.
5:33pm: Just sitting here waiting on showers. Should be first tonight. I'm going to go to sleep early. We ate dinner, it was a nasty processed patty. Well, I'm going to watch the news until showers and call it a day.

Tuesday April 2, 2013, 4:45am: Been up since 3am. Someone down the hall was calling for a medical emergency. They were taken out in a wheelchair. So I got up, watched the news, cleaned up, read my mail and now I'm listening to my music and fixing to start writing.
8:41am: I've written 3 letters and just finished eating a ramen soup. Fixing to do some more writing. We got out good sgt. back for today. Wish he would stay over here. Back to writing.
10:12am: Just been walking. Waiting on legal mail to come, so I can get this letter out to Secretary Crews and the senator. I talked to my classification officer this morning about my visits, the heightened security etc. She said she's got to get with someone higher up. That was Cab that left out this morning. He's throwing up blood. I hate that I'd gladly take his place. Not looking good. I'm fixing to work on some new stationery.
11:52am: Legal mail was just picked up. I'm fixing to drink a cup of coffee and relax for a few minutes.
1:08pm: Just been sitting here doing artwork, passing time.
3:57pm: Just finished up several pieces of new stationery. I'm waiting on dinner. After I eat, I'm going to wash clothes, wash up and call it a day. I am tired.
4:42pm: Just finished eating. I had a PB+J and we had an orange. We haven't had oranges in probably 3 years, so that was a really good orange. Cab just came back. I'm glad to see that. I just hate seeing him struggle the way he is. I'm fixing to wash clothes, lay down and call it a day.

Wednesday April 3, 2013 5:33am: Just woke up at 4:50am. I didn't get up until no to sleep until 10pm. I got woke up a lot so I'm tired. Didn't get any mail. Larry has one week to live. I've had people write him, just to let him know that I was thinking about him. Put my breakfast in bags to heat up. I'll eat in about an hour. I've got a few ministries to write this morning and I'm fixing to clean the floor and then get to writing.
8:43am: Just changed sheets and made the bunk. I've been sitting here writing letters. Which I'm fixing to get back to.
11:39am: Canteen left off of here just a few minutes ago. I've been sitting here working on a dream catcher (stationery) and it's coming out nice. I'd like to get that done today and another letter written.
2:32pm: I got that piece of art done and finished a letter. I'm fixing to do some walking and see where I go from there.
4:38pm: Just finished making me some burritos. I chopped the hot dogs up and put them in there. I'll eat here in a few minutes. This time next week Larry will be an hour and a half away from going into the execution chamber. Damn shame. I think I'm going to write the Governor. I doubt he will get it, but I might as well try. Well, I'm going to eat and lay back and relax.

Thursday April 4, 2013 6:12am: Didn't get up until 5am, as they were serving breakfast. I put it all in bags, it's heating in the sink. I'm going to eat shortly and then do some writing and then some artwork. Already made the bunk and cleaned the cell. I got 2 letters in last night. This will be the last Thursday that Larry Mann sees. He's always on my mind even if I don't mention him. I think about him throughout the day.
9:18am: Just finished a letter. Fixing to do some artwork and then maybe another letter.
11:08am: I just finished visiting with a Christian volunteer that I haven't seen in 9 years. He's one of those few true Christians. One of those standing on the right hand side in Matthew 25:31-39, not those on the left, verses 40-46. He's a good guy. I really enjoyed talking to him. Well, I wrote another letter, and a grievance. Not sure I'm going to file it. Back to the artwork.
1:22pm: The guys are all out at recreation. Pisses me off that I can't go out with everyone else. Tomorrow they're going to take me out by myself. I'm not going to file these grievances. I'm going to send in request slips to try to trick them with their own words into showing what they're doing is bullshit. I'm fixing to go back to this artwork.
4:35pm: Finished eating. I made a PB+J sandwich. Just been doing some artwork. I'm going to wash clothes here shortly and call it a day. I really enjoyed seeing Ben today, the Christian volunteer who I have not seen since I left Florida State Prison. Tomorrow I should be getting some new music so I have that to look forward to. Plus I should be going out to recreation. Although I'll be by myself which is a waste of time and money, and all because of Warden Reddish's unethical criminal conduct. But this is the dirty south where corruption and stupidity runs ever so rampantly. But welcome to the F.D.O.C. Well, time to wash up, wash clothes, put the mail on the door and call it a day.
