April 8, 2013:

Lisa, on May 13th I am wish you a very happy birthday. You have grown from this cute goofy little girl into a beautiful 22 year old young woman. You are the little sister I never had, but always wanted. And I will always love you. I hope that you have a wonderful birthday. Buon compleano, amica mia. Lisa is from Italy and she is a wonderful young woman that any man (her age) would be lucky to have. And just 10 days after Lisa's 22nd birthday, Nero will have his 10th birthday. On another note, I just learned this morning that my mother is trying to quit smoking. She is using the electronic cigarette that I always see advertised on TV to do it. My brother JJ quit this way. In order to quit smoking, you need 2 things. 1: the desire to really quit. 2: you need to find something else to do with your time. You will have a lot of free time. I quit in October 2006. I smoked roughly 60+ cigarettes a day for around a decade. You have to want it to accomplish this goal. I promise, anyone who tries to quit, it is "all mental". You can do it. I'm always worried when my mom has to be rushed to the emergency room, but I hope that this was her wake up call to finally quit. Cigarettes killed my grandpop, so I hope my mom wants to make this change.

Anyone who buys their prescription meds from a drug store, there's a website I want you to check out.

www.consumerreports.org

There was a big story on CNN about this & I was surprised to learn that Rite Aid, CVS, and Target were charging people $150+ for a prescription that can be purchased at other places for under $20. On another note, I just wanted to mention my friend Billy Payne. He has been awarded the Prisoners of the Year Award by the PA Prison Society for all of his hard work and dedication to making change in and out of prison. Congratulations, Bill.

I also wanted to share these photos of baby Lucy. She is 1 years old now and she is a little doll! Here are some pictures. I can't wait to meet her. There is also a rare photo of my dad, my brother had to sneak and take this photo. Well, I think that will be all from prison today. For those of you who don't know, prison is extremely boring. If anyone has anything that want to hear about or know, please let me know. A lot of people don't understand what it's like in here. They think that what they see on TV is real. But prison is a very hard and lonely place. Life doesn't always make sense in here but when you have family & friends who show you love & support, it helps tremendously, to make us more understanding, we appreciate life a lot more, and the misery doesn't change us. I have met so many men who have been in here for 30+ years, and almost every one of them are hateful miserable people. They have no one on the outside and that is something I never want to experience or become. So I want to thank the few people who are still there for me. I can't do this alone. I'm not as strong as you's want to believe. I hope I'm not boring you. Spring is finally here, that little groundhog was wrong once again but the warm weather is here so it's time for me to go outside. In here, you have to take advantage of every chance you have to get outside. It's definitely something that we have taken for granted. My daughter has been moved to another foster home and I have not been told where or why yet. All I know is my letters are being returned and it says "moved". So let's hope that her social worker tells me something. That's all for today, anybody wanna talk, hit me up. You know where I'm at. Ciao.

Hi. I just stumbled on your blog and it took me by surprise. I remember your case very well. I had a friend who lived at the Salem Harbour Apartments in Bensalem. Since your crime happened there, I naturally paid close attention to the case. The details were pretty gruesome. My friend didn't know the victim, but he said everyone who lived there knew about the guy's garden, and that supposedly he was a nice guy. I remember you being taken away by police, and spitting at either your girlfriend or her mother.
I don't know why I remember all these details, but I do. I was curious , I guess, how someone who seemed so vicious would turn out, which is why I read your blog. You seemed to have done a big turn-around, with a pretty good outlook , considering your situation. I hope you are able to make the best of what you deal with. Good luck, Bill.
