Retia,
Hi R! Hope you're doing better than me. Sounds like you are. I'm dealing w/ more crap than you'd care to hear about! Most people just can't relate to the torment. I'd rather think of other things right now.
That's cool you read a bit. I'm on C status which means I'm locked up at 1pm, no TV, radio, etc. so I read A LOT! I read over 350 pgs a few days ago, out of "River God" by Wilbur Smith. Then I read "Mother California" by a guy I knew in Lancaster Prison named Horse. It's worth reading. I've read SEVERAL zombie books: I Am Legend by Richard Matheson (the ORIGINAL zombie book), World War Z, Zombie Survival Guide, The Ultimate Zombie Book (short stories), etc. I ALWAYS have dozens of books piled up waiting for me to read. It's my only escape.
BTW, my old cellie got busted w/ a cellphone. What a dumb-ass! And why would your husband think you're "up to" something? Dirty girl!
And about that photo: no, I am NOT trying to "place" you! I've placed you before. Don't you remember?
I'm sending in a couple pages to my blog also. I'm not sure if you read all that crap or not. Not that I've sent much in lately! Too much turmoil in my life right now.
As for my writ: it was accepted by Cal. Supreme Court on March 15th, they have heard arguments for Doe v. Harris on Apr. 3rd and they have 90 days to rule on it. AND I spent my birthday (4-15) locked in my cell hatin' the world! ("Fuck this planet! I'd rather be on Uranus!") Actually I just read a book and pretended not to be here. That was "Mother California" - Kenneth E. Hartman, 197 pgs in 2 days, so they only had my body locked up!
Thanx for writing. Wish it was more often, but you've got a life. Me? I got a life, too: a life SENTENCE!
So, to quote 1/2 the postcards ever printed:
Wish you were here!
Scot
