LOOKING FOR MY LOUD VOICE
WHY I NEVER THOUGHT I WOULD
MISS JERRY FALWELL
Rev. Falwell has departed the
pulpit public forum many, many years
ago.
Since his, and other Americans,
known to take a profile in courage
stand, whether the popular plls agreed
with them or not; for example, Prof.
Cornell West, rightly bemoan the
assasin's bullet silencing of Dr.
Martin Luther King, Jr.'s, mighty
prophetic voice; PC has emptied
the public forum of social value
hot issues debates.
Leaving us with one sided
pontificating on otherwise mony
sides public interest controversial
hot issues.
For too many examples, there
is "ABC The View", "CBS The Talk",
"Fox News", "ABC Good Morning America",
"NBC Today", and Radio Rush, Hannity,
all elitist and well paid multi-millionaires.
We have speakers come on to
tell us there is no opposition to gay
hot issues, similarly, we are in a
post racial America; War is necessary
without end. And the economy is
recovering; ad nauseam.
Naturally, there is no opposition
because PC has silenced all fair
and rational public discourse.
Consider the instance of
Prof. Noam Chromsky, Linguistic
Professor at MIT; rated No. 20
in Reader's Digest, The Most Trusted
People in America June 2013; readerdigest.com
But where is this trusted voice
to be heard in our public square?
Even the brave outspoken lady
Madonna when speaking on "NBC
Chime for Change" [June 06, 2013;
Sat., 8:00 p.m.] bemoaned the conspicuous
lack of those willing to stick
out their neck for whatever they believe
in. Give a voice.
This absence of outraged
voice_ for we must not silence
loud dissent. Therefore, is why I
do greatly miss Jerry, Martin
and Noam; ad infinitom
