Dear Reader,
Here is another poem I wrote on 11/05/09.
Lay to Rest
In this world filled with sorrow,
Nobody knows which way to turn.
With different teachings being taught,
For the truth only do we yearn.
So please, God, bring us the truth,
As it was taught by Jesus Christ.
To help us to fully understand
The whole meaning for Him paying the price.
For we cannot continue in this evil world,
Doing the things of the flesh.
Without us really knowing,
We only crucify Christ afresh.
I plead, O God, for your help
As I tr to overcome this test.
So that by your grace, mercy, and power
I'll be able to lay this sinful flesh to rest.
