For Gotten Love

Forgotten Love

Did I ever cross your mind? Do you wonder what could be?
Am I ever in your thoughts? Do you ever think of me?
It seems I've been forgotten. I'm tortured by despair.
Out of sight, out of mind. It hurts that no one cares.

Do you ever reminisce on memories of love and remember
what we had or just forget what it was?
Who cares if I feel sad and teardrops fall from my eyes?
Who cares if I feel bad with no one by my side...?
Now all the happy memories are painful to remember
From broken vows and promises.
My Heart left broken and injured.
I wish I could forget
The love you put asunder,
The love that we both lost.
Still, I can't help but wonder:
Do I ever cross your mind?
Do you ever wonder what could be?
Am I ever in your thoughts?
Tell me: do you ever think of me?
