Senor Sabebastical Dela Cruz and singing the national anthem, cbsnews.com

San Antonio, Texas, Senor Dela Cruz, a child, albeit, a profile in courage, sang the national anthem, dressed royally in his Mexican suit at a baseball game, which surprisingly—amazingly—set off racist attacks and evil threats.

His brave response was a magnificent encore performance.

To this blogger, this outrage is reminiscent of circa 1969 when Jose Feliciano, of "Feliz Navidad," Christmas song fame, sang the national anthem at a baseball game. The similar reactionary racist vile attack ensued!

The more things change, the more history repeats itself!
