Audacity Unsung

In our youth, we heard chants,
Demands for freedom, justice and equality.
Listen in awe, to words our brothers and
Sisters spoke so eloquently.

Teenage giants in a fight to death,
For the people's liberation.
Black Panthers, Jomo, Invaders, Deacons
For Defense; Vanguards, leading the
Struggle to free our nation.

Afro crowned brothers and sisters
Standing tall, fist raised high.
Your voice, forced into silence, your
Cause refuse to die.

Paratroopers, National Guards, jackboot clad,
Billy club swinging cops.
Their brutality could not staunch the
Seeds you planted, ignited an eternal spark.

Peace to the nation, long live the revolution!!!
