"Where there's music, there can be no evil."- Cervantes

Dear Readers,

Howdy everyone! Blessings to all. I'm at a bit of a loss as to
what to write about so this may be a bit boring.
I know I haven't written since before Thanksgiving. For those of
you in Europe. I highly recommend you start a Thanksgiving Tradition.
It's a great holiday for just eating a ton of food & enjoying the day.
Of course, it's a lot different in prison, but that's another issue.
Ok, our meal was OK, although a bit skimpy on the portions. Also,
we had what was supposed to be a turkey drumstick, but the meat was
red & looked like ham. It also wasn't cooked that well. It was kinda
gross, but whatever.
A week from today we're supposed to get some eggnog & cookies
plus our holiday bags. The holiday bags are plastic bags filled with a
variety of food treats-different chips, small candies, etc., that we never
see otherwise. The bags get smaller each year, but it is something to
look forward to.
We'll also have a holiday meal for Christmas & New Year's-much
like T-giving & that's about it. Last year they had a holiday decoration
contest for each unit, but it appears they won't do that this year.
The holidays are the worst in prison. It is so extremely depressing.
Something inside of me has died when it come to holidays. My ex & I
had one Xmas in between all our legal troubles & I couldn't even bring
myself to decorate the tree. I went to my room & cried instead. And
Xmas used to be so magical for me. It's so sad.
On a better note, I started my crochet class last week. Yah! I
am SO GLAD to have that class back. I started the class at this prison
a couple years ago & then lost it to some back-stabbing bitch when I
went to the Hole for "investigation" (A/K/A Nothing). Now the aforementioned
bitch is the Hole pending transfer after ratting (talking) on a staff
member. Karma, bitch!
It's touch teaching beginners 'cause you need to spend time with each
person individually to see what they're doing wrong or to show them how
to move on to the next step. So, I spend a lot of time-all the
time-going from person to person. It's busy, but I love it.
I'm also really busy making a variety of things for other people.
One guy wants 3 bracelets with loved one's names on them & another
guy wand a scarf made. I have to borrow the thread for the
bracelets 'cause they don't have beading here (I have some stuff left
over from the last prison). Also, technically, none of this is allowed
'cause you're not supposed to make- & especially not sell- stuff for
other prisoners. However, I am a Rebel & I plan on raking in the
stamps. Cha-ching!!
I hope y'all have a wonderful holiday season!

Love & Blessings,
