Draconian system

I sit here today in total disgust, as with each year passing it is always some type of denial of lifes most basic's each year... this year it came as a shock to most of us prisoners on the row - who waited for our e comm. care packages to be delivered. I mean what a cool new technological treat! Our friends, family loved ones can spoil us with a $50. e comm care package purchased off the www.texas.gov.e-comm-direct web site.($50 every 90 days). Much to our surprise it was shut down around December 17th. I was unable to get my Christmas care package for this 90 day quarter - for my holiday meals to be complete. Its very Un-Texan to deny me my jalapeno's cheese and basic condements for my holiday meals. In Texas jalapeno is a staple of cooking and a good holiday meal. Its unheard of to have BBQ without jalapeno. So as a Texan I am just disgusted with TEXAS Prison system's e comm!!!!!to me its is nothing new, for 15 years I have sat on the row without being able to attend Catholic Mass!!!! YES They have no church services for the row. Of all the knuckle heads in texas prisons - you would think the bible belt state of Texas would be remotely concerned with the salvation of the "Worst of the Worst". NOPE. they do not care if we are "saved" have GOD in our life. It is just another year of denying our federal right to freedom of religion. Pursuant by Bill Clintons administration years ago... We are entitled to the practice of our religion. this entails all forms of religion all faiths. Texas doesn't care what the federal government & laws dictate. Texas is like a whole nothing country. I feel like a forgiener in my own home state/ country. this is the gulag at its best! To repress us, deny our loved ones contact, limit us in any & every way possible. each year they find a new way to jerk the rug right out from under our feet. What disgust me is how it hurts our families, our friends, loved ones wives, girlfriends, supporters - who log on to the web site to find there is NO Christmas package for the row. Its canceled - sites shut down till January. I for one plan to boycott it from now on. They can keep it, one customer lost out of 140,000 inmates. This convict was in sales in the free world. with such a limited clientel. It has been taken all the way to the Pope & back down the hiarchy of the church to the conselet general in D.C. about no catholic Mass. Even the church could do nothing. In the Spirits of Christmas, We all celibrate & our faith will power and fellowship behind the razor wise - The system can not control. I wish you all a happy new year - may this year be full of new surprises, great acomplishments. As A ole scientist said "Live long & Prosper".
