I have not been writing long, I just write a lot. I write thoughts and wants and needs, and sometimes they turned into poetic forms. It is like some "God" of inspiration take hold of me, and I just put it down. Some poems little correction have to be made, others have to rearrange.
I've been seriously writing since 2007. I was writing to this lady. We would write pages at a time. Then one day she just stopped writing. That was hurtful. I wrote numerous poems and acrostic for her. She is the beginning of writing.
Well, I never really thought of Heroes until you said it. I had an education overseas until I was 15, and I encountered La Fontaine, Victor Hugo, etc. Perhaps they have influenced me subconsciously. However, I really like Walt Whitman a lot because of his style of free writing. He does not care about a lot. I would say he is one influential in English Lit. Love Leaves of Grass. Wish I had a copy.
I had to look up Aristole. I have this book of quotes, he is in there. Really good stuff. "Plato is dear tome, but dearer still is truth." I think I will love this guy if I read more of him.
As for Aguinas, I heard of him but read little of him. Do you have some ideas? Be aware that books sent to me from a vendor with the receipt of purchase. Copies can be sent in to me.
As for my inspiration, they come from talking to people and observing. Sometimes, they come through other media like TV or reading another poem, etc. The Bible is a constant source of inspiration.
Calhoun25, thanks for responding. It took a little time to write back. Was waiting for some stamps and was low on ribbons.
