Maita,

Again your reply does bring some comfort. I personally wish to thank you for kneeling with me in prayer. It would seem they were all answered but one I think. But looking at it, maybe it to was answered when my father was called.

Sometimes we, (I) become selfish and not look at the whole picture. All I see, that if I'd had my way, my father would still be struggling to breathe with a hose in his nose everywhere he went. It was just a struggle for him to speak to me on the phone. If I'd had my selfish way, he'd still be fighting, just to breathe. That's pretty damn selfish.

The last week, I received a sympathy card for a dear family friend. She too was dealing with a fresh loss, but she told how dad would always use Facebook to say 'hi' and 'well wishes'. He did this with many people I'm told. What got me the most was how my dad and I began the healing process. I had totally forgotten now just this past year I began getting little one-line emails from my dad. Just saying "Hi, this is your old man. Say Hi, Love Dad".

I had to ask for some serious forgiveness for that and asked how I can not be so selfish about things that obviously are stumping my growth.

So anyway, thank you for your prayers and please feel free to continue - they work!
