FATHER!

The angelic looking young woman up at the
Godlike beautiful old black man with seemingly endless
scars and wounds of the world etched on his face,
she stretched out her hand entreating, "Father, Father
give me your hand, drop the cross of your suffering
and come away with me from this horrid place
of death, dying and anguish. I will lead you
far, far away from her to a better place, a place
of sanctuary and peace".

The young woman all teary eyed with pleading
eyes said, "Please Father, come away with me!" The old
man with what could be mistaken as a smile
slowly responded,"Thank you my child, you have a warm
and generous heart. No, I cannot leave this place of death and dying. It is too late. All is lost or destroyed for me and what good is a lifeless walking, talking, soulless body"?

Unperturbed by the old Godlike man's resolve,
the young woman screamed, "No Father, no Father, you shall
not. I will not let this horrid place be your final
resting place". Defiantly with tears dropping, "Father, if this
place claims your life, then I will give up my life
also". The old man, with his facial suppression seemingly unflinching,
reached out touching the woman's hand saying " The depth of your love has
prevailed".
