A Letter of Sorrow
RE: Request for legal assistance.
My name is Lloyd, and I am an African American male black. I have been incarcerated since the age of 17, starting from 2-3-1970, some 45 years ago. Convicted of the crimes of murder-robbery. During the course of the robbery, the victim, a white male, pulled and pointed a gun at me in self-defence; and in my teenage panic and fear, I instinctively reacted regrettably and fired one shot wounding the victim - sever months thereafter I was informed that the victim had passed away of which I am eternally so - so very sorry over the loss of life - and I deeply and irremissibly regret my actions.
I have been seen by the parole board and 24 times found unsuitable and with a upcoming 2015 hearing with zero prospects. All of my immediate family is deceased and over the last 45 years I have lost contact with all others; and you can well imagine I'm destitute?
My 45 years of incarceration has been unremarkable without major incident or rules infractions. I sorely inexplicably regret the tragic actions of teenager Lloyd and now as an elderly person of 62 I am well discipline, knowledgeable with full empathy, compassion and respect for the sanctity of human life. I am ready, able and suitable to rejoin society as a peaceful, civil, law-abiding productive member. IF you can in any way assist me, please write to me and I will provide you with full details/ facts of my situation. Thank you, please advise.
