Song Of Eye Candy

by William Irving (author's profile)

Transcription

Song of Eye Candy
A good advocate to impressive beauty sung
Acclaimeul, mastering the art of entertainment
So like pop star vocals being sung
Where the concert of her festivity melts mint
Giving off such eye-candy flavor, bells ring,
And rarely is this loveliness unremarkable
And each and every chart topper has its fling;
But her record shall remain classic sweetness
And taste impressive where beauty's songs are sold.
I, nor no man, can critic her releases' sweetness,
Because such sugar is legend and bold to behold;
So long as eyes can taste and ears can hear.
So long as her beauty shall sing in this poem's cheer.

Childhood Blues
It was some party! My family planned to throw
upon a festive night, we would grow—
maturing in mutual bond on continuous play;
like a CD of rhythm and blues spinning parlay.

Enrhythmed by my mother's dance;
bluesy against my obstacled chance,
I really feel like singing
a song that would unpit my shrinking.

Sistah Appreciation XXIV
Sistah,

I could b
so wordy about u,
but—

So many things
have been said
I can only express
them my way.
