COMING SOON: The World of a Caged Butterfly Volume 2

There are a number of things that have inspired this volume of poems; however the major inspiration come from the young women who I observe coming in and out of prison le there's a revolving door. I see myself in many of them, and want to give a testimony, so to speak, and try to inspire them to choose another path. Coming from someone who has been through many of the same things and who has experienced the pain and sorrow they feel, may open their minds as well as their eyes to the fact they are not alone in the struggle to survive and overcome.

Some of my poems reflect on "Life" behind these walls, and experiences that they will face if they ever make it inside. Some are not pretty, some are sad, and some down right hilarious. I hope they will help them choose ot avoid the kind of life I've had to live the past 15 years. I'd rather they read about it, thank live it. If my words can reach and touch just one life, I have accomplished something worthwhile.

I am preparing "Troubled Waters" to be released as well, I pray you will enjoy and continue to support me.
