Re: Ad-Seg Update. (Post).
Greetings,
Now that I have a radio it kind of makes the days go a lot soother now ad beats the hell out of staring at the walls and not hearing music or watching tv. In the shu I kept my tv on from 5:30 AM till 10:00 PM, eve when I was writing or reading or exercising. It became part of the daily program. So when I got here to Ad-Seg and had nothing at all, it wasn't easy to adjust at first.
I turned o the radio and they were playing a very old song, one that a very good friend of mine used to sing all the time and I hadn't heard it in a long time. I even forgot the name of it, I knew the words to it but I couldn't remember the title. I thought how long it has been since I thought of my friend who died many years ago, 1977 as a matter of fact. So, as I listened to the song, I closed my eyes and went back to when we were kids and all the trouble we got into.
Check this out, the other day I walked out my door and saw this officer with a German Sheppard. That's right, a dog walking down the tier. The dog looked tough too. I like German Sheppard's, I did a drawing of one once. They use these dogs to sniff out drugs. So as it walks down the tier, it is close to the door so it can sniff under the doors. I've heard them barking but never saw one until the other day.
I finally saw someone else who came out of the shu but I didn't know him. He was not in the area I was in and I haven't gotten the chance to speak with him directly. But finally there are more people coming out of PBSP Situ and coming this way.
I just heard that prison officials are going to open the two buildings out on D-yard so a lot of these inmates being held in here, waiting for a cell to open, will be let out soon. That's the yard that I may end up going to if I can't go back to the yard I came from. We'll see what happens though, in a couple of weeks I should know for sure.
It is getting closer to winter and I don't care too much for winter weather at all. Okay, signing off for now.
Pablo
