Hi Melanie - so cool! Thanks for the insight on how this all works, and thanks a million times for volunteering to transcribe my posts!
Do you help a lot of bloggers out that way? Do a lot of other people do the same? It's really a great feeling to realize somebody out there cares enough to put that kind of effort into something so thankless, so thank you.
I'd always been a little bummed that my handwritten blogs would be totally invisible to search engines... it's very exciting to know that now, I at least have a shot at being result number 987,544 on someone's Google search. Any visibility is better than invisibility, and most prisoners are just that - invisible.
BTW, "sysop" is just techie slang for "system operator", basically an administrator on a bulletin board, aka system administrator, or "sysadmin", that's all. Keep doing good things for people - it is appreciated!
(I'll try to lay off the underlining a little bit, too)

Hey buddy! Long time no talk...again! I don't know why I haven't been getting calls from you. In a message you left on my cell you alluded the fact you couldn't collect call me directly. I know it was only a couple months ago that I renewed my subscription to the collect call service. Speaking of subscriptions, I think I ordered you somewhere along the line of a half dozen magazines. I hope you have started to receive them and they help you keep abreast of what's going on in our lovely world. Take for example, our lovely political environment and the full range of choices we have (had?, never had/>. Anyways, I hope you're doing well and we can figure this phone call situation out soon. As for news on my end, my parents moved out and Christina and her 6-year old daughter Alani moved in. I basically told my parents to get the hell out! Haha, you know that was a joke. They wanted to downsize and simplify and returned to one of these 55 and over communities that are all over florida. The only difference this time, from the one they were in last time is they really downgraded and went with a much more modest community. They didn't like the stuffy, nose-in-the-air type people in the one my mother first bought back even when you and I were in Cali. Other than that, life is pretty much the difficult, stressful, inadequately satisfying thing many older people were inclined to make us believe.
My carpet, tile, and air-duct cleaning business is doing horribly (I could be doing a lot more--for example spending more time figuring out how to show up on google searches people make in the area). From flood clean-ups to carpet cleaning, to cleaning yachts, I've have good variety of services and can often do them better than stanley steamer (joke) and sometimes work like serv-pro (which handle jobs as big as an entire house full of mold or a rotten dead guy). They clean up all sorts of things. Interesting right? lol Anyways, let me send this off to you and keep this page open to transcribe one of your letters today--now that I finally became the proper kind of member who could do so.
Take care buddy and choose your battles wisely,
Chris
