Murders Continue
On 2/4/15, another cellie murders his cell partner. Both inmates were housed in a protective housing unit. The death toll is much higher on these SNY yards. The CDCR does nothing to curb these murders.
For one, inmates are not properly paired. For instance, sex offenders are regularly without any screening and housed with other inmates who kill them immediately. And in some cases, staff alert inmates who will be coming into that cell.
What can be done to change how the CDCR does its business? We would like you to comment on what CDCR can do to curb these murders. For one thing, you can go online and speak to the spokesperson of the CDCR. That would be a start.
