A pillar of loneliness Poetry 2015

My time here is numbered
kept by a stange team of doctors
ones that seem robotic
If they only knew laughter is the best medine
looking out my window
I see a darkened sky
A feeling of helplessness over takes the moment
wind wips through the fulage
springing back & forth its antenna like structures
I remind myself sometimes nature set unwanted-
Emotions within us with its cold momentum
can I put on paper what others can feel too
without offending & then having to be appologetic
I just wish I had a little sparrow friend
that would land on the outside of my window
bringing me a bit of cheer to warm my soul
or to suggest that God is not far away
and could remove my pillar of loneliness
