Natures Scene

Nature's Scene

I watch some rabbits outside my window
As they sit across the way...
They sit in silence as if they had nothing to say
One could almost hear the wind
As it combs their fur
They sit and watch me too, as I watch them
Neither of us move

I wonder what they are thinking
Are humans are mystifying
To these little things
They are God-given little creatures
Gentle and so meek as they roam around
Looking for food and shelter
For their little ones to hide in
I wonder if it is fun for them
To sit and watch me too
We are all part of nature's scene
I wonder if he's smiling too
