Yeah, so it doesn't look as if the categories link feature will be implemented on my blog anytime soon.
I did receive a response from (Charlie Detar) @ BTB about it back in December, who tried to answer my request. He explained the current URL directed system which "points to a collection of posts, and not a single one, though each post also gets its own separate URL so that people can link to it directly if they wanted to."
It definitely doesn't read as if we're on the same page about it. But I am familiar w/Charlie Detar - from the earliest days of BTB/PAPCO collabo, and he expressed his interest in communicating as well. So...I trust that we'll come to some sort of working relationship as my blog develops, and...maybe the idea and/or need for the categories link (tagging) feature is just a bit ahead of BTB's current platform.
Anyway, can't argue w/FREE, and the fact that BTB is a truly unique kind of social media platform for prisoners.
What I will start doing though is "tagging" particular posts myself - like "zine" and "interview". Either by post titles and/or by writing it in upper/right side margins. This way the "excerpt" display page is distinctly identifiable. Somethin' like that....(hmmm)
