"PURPOSE"

It would only be fitting to start off with the definition of purpose. Purpose is to propose, as anaim, to one's self; one's intention; design; resolve. In most cases, the reason for existing.
In having a life's purpose, one takes responsibility to fulfill, to carry out, as a promise, satisfy or bring to pass this mission. This mission is, in essence, one's willingness to live. A purpose is much more than a mere goal. Goals can be changed, because goal's are MADE. A purpose is REALIZED and detained through a medium of self awareness, spiritual awakening, or revelation, so to speak. An enlightenment is more accurate. And to not know your purpose is to not know your destiny. People live out there entire life's not knowing either. (Which doesn't mean their life had no meaning, only that it wasn't realized by the individual). Only to succumb to their fate. Which is not controlled by human standards. Fate is carried out by the "Power That Be". Whatever theism you may believe in or call upon. One controls their destiny not their fate. To realize your purpose you must have an understanding of these things.
In realizing your purpose you will also understand that you have a duty to everyone around you. And also, that your purpose has stages. This is a fact bolstered by how one came to the realization in the first place. "Awareness", "Enlightenment", or "Divine Revelation". So, your main aim is to please your "Creator". Because He is the one that gave you this assignment. No matter who or what you choose as your Higher Power. You must satisfy "IT" or "HIM" with proper "worship", "meditation", and OBEDIENCE. Then you next duty is to your parents, children, kinsmen, then the world.
This goes without saying what duty you owe to YOURSELF. You must preserve yourself accordingly so your purpose will be fulfilled KNOWINGLY and WILLFULLY by you. For if you die not knowing your purpose, in effect, you were controlled by your environment, and placed where someone else wanted you to be. Coin the phrase "product of your own environment". One most take the reigns of their life and humbly live it with a determined vigor to bring to pass what they were destined to be. So, when they do meet with their fate, they would leave behind a legacy that can be the example for the next generation to follow. And the memory of such person would be legendary, not soon to be forgotten.
