Racism Still Exists

Racism Still Exists

Judges wear black, but our image is tainted
Gross misleading picture of a black man is painted

If you look up the word black and the word white
You'll get how they look at black people in a whole different light

They think white is pure and represents things that're clean
Under black, well, let's just say they haven't fulfilled the dream

They racial profile you saying, "There's no type of segregation."
Blacks get the jail time, the whites get off on probation

The cold thing about it: it's the exact same crime
The prison population of black men is way too high

Equal rights: they're using the constitution, I suppose
I'm just surprised that they're not spraying black people with a fire hose

Racism still exists in America. Some say to race they're blind
But they got one eye open on a black man the entire time

Still using the N word, hanging up a Confederate flag,
But blacks killing each other 'cause of a different colored rag

Just be thankful. Nowadays, it's a different era
'Cause back in the 50s and 60s, the treatment will probably scare ya

Think back in the slavery days: you wouldn't make it picking cotton
We remember the dream, but the words he said were forgotten

Black people still segregated; it's still the same since
Since the slavery days, so we all know racism still exists
