Thank you for your comment on my poem Troubled Thoughts. I write poetry to express myself and give people on the outside a glimpse into my mind, to see that just because I am in prison, doesn't mean that I can't be better.
I made a mistake in the past, and I've paid for it. But my crime doesn't define who I am. I am taking this opportunity to overcome all adversity, to become great even with a criminal record.
Thank you once again, and I thank you for sharing with me. More raw, deep and intense emotions are sure to follow on my blog. Stay tuned.
