In the order of life, things happen. Minutes, hours, days, years...

Happy birthday, James 9-2. I miss you, brother.

Got your last post in 13 days, my love. Not bad. :) ❤ They seem to have fixed the mail for now. I hear of one old boy that got a letter in 4 days from post mart. :)

I feel worn out all the time. Don't know what it is. I come back from work, people say, "You look like you've put in a hard day." I'm not allowed to do anything at work?

Just read there are trace amounts of gold in every human being, so we're all worth something.

I know you would like me to be perfect, but perfection is God's business. I'll just try for excellence.

I'm finding that everyone who has been in prison for a while suffers from post-traumatic stress disorder and depression, as prison is just another war zone. The mistake of the state is they're not rusting anybody for them, some who will get our someday.

I've learned to color away my stress and brighten up my day with soft colors.

One of the most valuable things I've learned about my art is not to get upset by criticism. Be happy by the fact that someone noticed it.

Whether you're at home, at the store, driving in your little car, or just waiting around, feel me there with you at all times. ❤Forever + Ever❤

Georgia Fact: Just outside Atlanta, the picturesque community of Serenbe requires each of its 200 plus homes to include a porch. :)

Relationships shape and support us, but they can also cause pain. Family, friends, and others let us down, put us down, abuse us, ignore us. We do the same to them, intentionally or unintentionally: (Restorative Justice)

You can never get too old to enjoy the beauty around you. I enjoy your beauty every day. ❤

I hope you're feeling well now, my love.

Then and Now
There is nothing new
for me to show you
You've seen me naked
all my embarrassing flaws
When we were only
emblems on teh hood
That beat up Ford
older than we were
Driving down some dark
and lonely mountain road
If we live forever
I'll need you there
Always by my side
Your love within me
Looking into the rear-view mirror
your eyes looking into mine
The lines in our face
showing in our smiles
Laughing our heads off
in a sweet summer breeze
An elderly couple now
in an empty room
Filled with our past
then and now

I got both of your messages, my love. A day apart. :) The one you sent on your b-day only took 9 days :) to get to me, so they must have hired some new mail room staff. I hope you had a fun filled b-day. I know you did; you're surrounded by family. I love you and miss you. Hope to be writing a letter in a few days. Forever + Ever

Quick note -I'm going to Alabama Wednesday so your next letter may get here while I'm gone. I've started working on a letter to you so it won't take forever - lol - but there may be a delay if I'm gone. :) Hopefully this will fill that empty time - you'll get this to say how much I love and miss you :)
