"K" Street sucked us in at dusk and spot us out at sunrise. Razor pleets in our pants and the smell of Bryloreen and Oed Spice filling the night sidewalk as we walked by watching ourselves in the storefront glass. Weren't we a pair?

The happiest couples have a high level of trust, which lets them give without expecting anything in return because they know their partner has their back.

On June 24, 2016 Obama announced prison inmates will be able to use second chance pell grants to go to college for the first time in 20 years. The financial aid inmates receive from taxpayer-founded grants will go to pay for books and other college costs. The inmates receive no money.

Those who earn a college degree drastically reduces the likelihood they will return to incarceration. It will take a while to get programs up and running. They're working on it here and at San Quentin, I know.

I have not last the "Ahh" factor I had as a kid. On at least I have found it again, like when I see the blossom of a flower or watch a new sunrise. The fresh smell of a summer rain.

Mom, Tim, wherever you are from afar, I love you.
