Greetings once again! I hope and pray this blog finds you at peace! And peace is what I would like to discuss today.

What is peace? Some would define it as a time of no conflict or strife while others would define it as an inner state of calm, regardless of one's circumstances. Personally, I believe the latter best describes true peace.

So how does one attain this inner calm when all is chaos around them? A great question! And one that has caused MANY books to be written, each with their own solutions that may in fact help for a time. However, in my own experiences, I have learned that the ONLY time I have ever experienced an inner peace that didn't make sense based on the devastating or chaotic circumstances is when I put my total trust in the source of true peace—Jesus Christ. There is a reason He is called the Prince of Peace!

Unfortunately, life is full of situations that can fill us with fear, doubt, sorrow, and uncertainty. It is at those times that I feel it is important to call on Jesus and ask Him to produce His peace in us. And thankfully He does!

Without an inner peace to stabilize our lives, it is easy to reach our wit's end very easily, which often just makes matters worse. I speak from experience on that too!

May you find peace!
