Police Interrogations Need to be Fair

I'm writing in response to a recent Supreme Court ruling regarding how Miranda rights are executed and interpreted. A ruling that suspects must break their silence and say directly that they wish to remain silent.

This is outrageous. This new ruling does not change anything during police interrogations. Trickery, coercion, intimidation, and assault are common during police interrogations.

There needs to be audio and video during all police interrogations. There should also be an attorney available at all times during police interrogations so any rights of the accused are not violated. There will be situations where individuals will knowing waive their rights, but this policy will ensure that a majority will unknowingly waive their rights.

This police state mentality is unconstitutional and approved by the highest court in the land. Our founding fathers would be horrified. Myself and others I know certainly are.
