Happy New Year, Between the Bars

Hopefully this year will be better than 2016. Man, we had a lot of our favorite celebrity deaths along with unextraordinary presidential elections, and for some of us, we had personal tragedies in our families, bad doctor reports, so on and so on.

I encourage you all to keep your head up and be encouraged. My grandma used to tell me when things are at its worst, better is right around the corner. I appreciate everything you do for us. One day, when I get fortunate, I want to give back to your organization.

Once again, thank you for everything, Between the Bars. I've enclosed some comments to the comments I've received from my blog (1092).

I haven't commented before, but I have been transcribing many of your posts over the last five or so months. From the present to the past from many years ago. I wanted to say that I really admire your compassion and humanity. It's raw and refreshing wisdom that comes from a wounded but understanding heart. Your writing heals me whenever I'm feeling down, even though I am not a deeply religious person. It's an unexpected joy. Thank you very much for what you've done.

Happy New Year. Let's hope that this year will be a good one for everyone together.
