Somebody please, E-mail 10 others & tell them 2 check out this idea. "Occupy _____" should locate vacant lots & abandoned buildings in each city & set up house. Begin soliciting donations and erect food distributions 2 the needy; soup lines, food baskets, etc. This will help directly, give a focus & elicit support from the masses who are apathetic or on the fence. Begin transforming run-down properties & then occupy them. Justice & righteousness is on our side.
I'm so very proud that this came to be. This is akin to what Dr. Martin Lther King intended 2 do with his peer people's march 2 Washington. It was what he was planning when he was killed. He spoke on how the war in Vietnam was connected to poverty & classism & racism in the homeland. It was what he saw as the universality of the struggle for freedom & equality that he became a problem the powers that couldn't tolerate.
He planned 2 march poor folk from all over the nation right up 2 the white house. But it was 2 involve the anti-war movement as well.
The momentum that has been generated must not be lost. This idea has a lot of power in it. The T.V. talk show hosts keep joking about there being a lack of focus. That may be the greatest asset, only it's being perceived the wrong way. Why not have 10 or 15 things on the agenda? Housing, employment, taxes, social programs, college tuition, pollution, green energy, and many more.
Also, don't forget 2 read up on conspiracy theories - seriously - read "Behold a Pale Horse" now & see how on target William Cooper was about what he predicted our government would do 2 us. Also, Jim Marrs' "The Rise of the 4th Reich" It will blow your head off. One more, in "The Turner Diaries" a bomb goes off in "The Big City" on September 11 & kills 3000 people. I only read it because they publicized it when Timothy McVeigh was on trial. They said it was his favorite book. The "L.A. Weekly" ran a series of articles about the Oklahoma City bombing. They had a photo of Tim McVeigh with Muhammed Aita at a flying school in Oklahoma City before the bomb. Also, when you get a chance, look up a Jay Leno Tonight Show interview with Hilary Clinton when her bok came out. She said "Oh, we know Terry McNichts was Al Quaeda" I heard that myself. Just spend 10 minutes contemplating what that means.
Hey Occupy, I'm so proud of you. PEACEFUL REBELLION, QUIET RIOT, WE SHALL NOT BE MOVED.
