To The Loves I've Lost
I need y'all now, more than ever.
I'm trying to keep it together. Just one love is all I need. I apologize 'cause I couldn't comprehend what you truly longed for was me, not the lies or cheating. I feel as though I'm being sentenced over and over. Please save me to the loves I've lost.
I envision the laughter and memorable moments. Driving you like I owned it, pumping hard like pistons, until our bodies glisten. You were my mission impossible. This is starting to sound like a gospel.
With every love comes a new experience. All excess, the clearance to do what I pleased. Love, this is how it's supposed to be: Adam and Eve. Together we can achieve the American dream 'cause we could've had Heaven right here on Earth. So hello from the other side. To the loves I've lost.
