At the brink of light
I'd chase a shoreline
in hopes of Jesus walking there
But my chains are too short
binding the dream
tossing me to and fro
and landing in society's unwanted garbage
It is told in Christ-Flickers hope
The only star that can heal prison sorrow
giving faith to all
Even if your chains are too short.
